FITCH QUICKLY RESPONDS TO ADVERSITY

After suffering their first loss of the year, the Lady Falcon Softball team bounced back in a big way at the Grand Strand Classic in Mrytle Beach, SC.  Facing Spring Mills from West Virginia, the offense exploded for 21 hits and won going away by a score of 22-1.

Freshmen Sydnie Watts picked up the win in the circle allowing no hits and striking out 6 batters.  Senior Kayla Schubert picked up the save as she recorded 4 strikeouts.

Sophomore Ayla Ray, Senior Maddy Taylor and sophomore Bella Tofil had 3 RBIs each to lead the offense.

The team moves to 12-1 on the season and faces Jefferson from West Virginia on Thursday, April 21 at 10:00 AM.
