FITCH WINS FIFTH STRAIGHT

YOUNGSTOWN OH- Taking a 4 game win streak into their matchup against Ursuline Fitch’s girls basketball team was able to secure a 55-28 victory over the Irish. It was Fitch’s defense that was able to shine, holding Ursuline to a combined 3 points in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Ayla Ray led the Falcons with 18 points and 3 3 pointers with Rachel Spalding contributing 14 points. Lily Scott was the lead scorer for Ursuline with 11 points.

Ursuline looks to get back on track next Monday, December 11th, when they play Chaney. Austintown next game is Saturday, December 9th, on the road against Kenston where they look to continue their win streak.
