FLASHES SHINE BRIGHT AGAINST SPRINGFIELD

WARREN OH-  Nate Holt didn’t allow a single run as Champion defeated Springfield 4-0 on Wednesday. Holt allowed just two hits.

In the first inning, Champion got their offense started when Tyler Skaggs grounded out, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Springfield was a single by AJ Stallsmith in the sixth inning.

Holt pitched the Flashes to victory. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out seven.

Kolten Ruark took the loss for the Tigers. The pitcher allowed three hits and three runs over four innings, striking out seven.

Joey Fell led Champion with two hits in three at bats. Champion stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Skaggs led the way with two.
