GIVE A KNITTLE BIT
CANFIELD, OH- The Canfield Cardinals are set to engage in what they hope to be a very special season in 2022. That has a lot to do with the players that construct this roster and the wealth of top-tier players they have all over the field, but it might have something to do with the coaching staff that has been pieced together by the lead bird, Gary Knittle.
Knittle has been everywhere and seen everything, and has the stories to prove it, but this year he seems a bit more reminiscent of years gone by. Perhaps this year is the culmination of all those years, or perhaps the thought of walking away to spend more time with family is closer than ever before. No matter the reason, Gary Knittle’s contributions to sports in our area will never go unnoticed as he’s helped so many young student-athletes get to where they want to go- and stay a fan for the rest of their days and beyond.
