HUBBARD STYMIES INDIANS TO CONTINUE WINNING

GIRARD OH- It was a tough day on Friday for Girard, who lost 12-0 to Hubbard on Friday night.

One bright spot for Girard was a single by McKayla Durr in the second inning.

Haley Croyle earned the win for Hubbard. The fireballer surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out 12 and walking zero.

Emily Rosace took the loss for Girard. The righty went four innings, allowing six runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking one.

Durr and Malina Serrano each collected one hit to lead Girard GIrard Indians Varsity.

Hubbard collected 13 hits on the day. Grace Narkum, Gillian Ryser, Phoebe Rusnak, and Lauren Kamorec each managed multiple hits. Narkum led Hubbard with three hits in four at bats. The Eagles tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Lexi Najdusak led the way with two.
