INDIANS FAIR WELL AGAINST BEARS

SALINEVILLE, OH- Leetonia came into tonight’s contest (6-3) after a big win against United. Southern Local came into the game undefeated (9-0) after beating Wellsville.

The first quarter belonged all to Southern as they put up 31 points. During the first, the Indian’s quarterback Jayce Sloan would throw three touchdowns and Cam Grodhaus would rush for one touchdown. The second quarter would still be scoreless for the Bears as Grodhaus would take a punt 40 yards for a touchdown to end the half and put the Indians up 43-0.

To start the second half, both teams would score only once. Leetonia’s Marco Ferry would have a 59-yard rushing touchdown to give the Bears their only score on the night. For the Indians, H. Morris would have a 65-yard rushing touchdown to end the game 50-7 as Southern wins.

Southern will end their seasons undefeated (10-0) as Leetonia will lose and end with a season record of (6-4).
