RAIDERS OFFENSE DOESN’T MISS A BEAT ON OPENING DAY

CANFIELD OH- It was the first game of the season for South Range, as the Raiders are coming a state runner up campaign in 2021. Seven members of that lineup return. The Raiders offense showed up just as strong in their season opener. They scored in 4/5 of the innings on their way to a 11-1 run rule victory.

Maddie Dado led the offense for the Raiders. She reached base in all three of her at bats. She went 2-2 with a walk, knocked in 2 RBI, with 2 runs scored. Gretchen Bartell’s went 1-2 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Hannah Ball had a nice day at the plate as well going 1-2 with a RBI and 2 runs scored.

Samantha Susany got the win for South Range. Her final line shaped up like this: 5.0 IP 4 H 2 BB 8 K 1 ER.

Allison Hill cranked a home run to give Jefferson their only run of the game. Bodey Beckwith went 1-3 on the day for the Falcons.

Abbie Kuchnick took the loss for Jefferson. She went 5 innings inside the circle. Her final line was 4.0 IP 11 H 4 BB 3 K 9 ER.
