JFK LOOKS TO KEEP BUILDING

WARREN OH- Warren JFK didn’t have to travel far in Week 1 as they opened with an up and coming Champion program. The Eagles didn’t make life easy for the Flashes, as they rolled to a 44-14 win.

A pick six from freshman Devonte Taylor in the first couple minutes of the game set the tone for JFK.  Caleb Hadley would build off that momentum tossing a pair of touchdowns in the first half. He hit Aidan Rossi for a big 60 yard strike, and he also found Thomas Valent for a 19 yard touchdown.  He’d hit Rossi again later in the game for a 54 yard score.  Braylin Dyson would add to the JFK offensive barrage with a 45 yard touchdown run.

Joey Fell finished the night for Champion with 71 passing yards, and 90 rush yards.

JFK will travel to Fulton County in Week 2 to take on Delta.  Champion will try and bounce back against Rootstown at home.
