URSULINE PULLS DOWN THE CURTAIN AT SOUTH RANGE

CANFIELD OH- Ursuline brought the curtain down on a full day of basketball at South Range’s Holliday Hoops Classic, steadily pulling away to secure a convincing 53-28 victory over the host team.

Leading the charge for Ursuline was Kennedy Carpenter, who displayed an outstanding offensive performance with 20 points. Carly Casey added 9 points, and Meredith Gray contributed 6 points to the team’s well-rounded scoring effort.

South Range, though facing a tough challenge, saw notable contributions from Madison Dado, who led the team with 10 points, and Gwen Lowry, who added 8 points.

With this win, Ursuline moves to a 4-5 record, setting the stage for an intriguing matchup on Day 2 of the classic against St Joes Academy. Meanwhile, South Range, now standing at 2-7, will look to bounce back and cap off the second day of the classic with a game against Springfield.
