JFK WASTES NO TIME GETTING TO REGIONAL FINALS

STRONGSVILLE OH-

Gavin Shrum drove in four on three hits to lead John F. Kennedy past Columbia 10-2 on Friday. Shrum drove in runs on a double in the second and a single in the sixth.

In the first inning, the Eagles got their offense started. An error scored two runs.

JFK tallied four runs in the second inning. Michael Condoleon, Shrum, and Cam Hollobaugh all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Hollobaugh took the win for the Eagles. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out ten and walking one.

Andrew Champagne took the loss for Columbia. The pitcher surrendered ten runs on eight hits over six innings, striking out seven.

JFK racked up eight hits in the game. Shrum and Jaden Rishel each managed multiple hits. Shrum went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead.
