LADY BULLDOGS OFFENSE EXPLODES IN FIRST WIN

NEW WATERFORD, OH- Even though the East Palestine Bulldogs gave up four runs in the second inning, they still defeated Youngstown East 22-4 on Saturday. The big inning for East came thanks to a groundout by Maldando and a double by Lopez.

The Bulldogs got things moving in the first inning. Gabby Andre singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.  Anna Yonker led things off in her first-ever Varsity start for East Palestine. The ace surrendered four runs on five hits over three innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Mela was in the circle for East. The pitcher surrendered 22 runs on nine hits over four innings, striking out three.

EP racked up nine hits in the game. Andre and Alexus Robb each collected multiple hits for the BulldogsAndre went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Brown and White in hits. EP tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Ceci Foster led the way with three.
