RAIDERS BLOW PAST JEFFERSON

CANFIELD, OH- The South Range Raiders had no trouble on offense in their debut, winning big over Jefferson Area 17-2.

The Raiders got things moving in the first inning. Stevie Rohan grounded out, scoring two runs.  The Raiders tallied seven runs in the third inning. South Range’s offense in the inning was led by Logan CormellDylan DominguezRohanBilly Skripac, and Aidan English, who all drove in runs.

Skripac got the win for the Raiders. The right-hander surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out nine and walking zero. English and Joe Aey entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

South Range totaled nine hits. Shane Lindstrom and Cormell each collected multiple hits for RaidersCormell and Lindstrom each managed two hits to lead the Raiders. The Raiders didn’t commit a single error in the field. Logan Baxter had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
