It was a tough day on Tuesday for Girard, who lost 14-4 to Lakeview

Girard took an early lead in the first inning. Jake Dohy grounded out, scoring one run.

Lakeview took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Gavin Mauger singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Tyler Capan singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Jake Wilms singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Nick Demonica grounded out, scoring one run, and Cal Rinck singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Stephen Pavlasnky earned the victory on the hill for Lakeview. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out seven.

Andrew DelGarbino took the loss for the Indians. DelGarbino allowed nine hits and nine runs over four innings, striking out one and walking one.

Girard tallied eight hits in the game. Jayden Maggs and Anthony Cortese all had multiple hits. Cortese and Maggs each managed two hits to lead Girard.

Lakeview totaled 12 hits. Capan, Demonica, Alex Stowe, and Wilms all managed multiple hits for Lakeview. Capan led Lakeview with three hits in four at bats.
