MOONEY MAKES MOST OF SENIOR NIGHT

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- In a spectacular display of skill and teamwork, the Cardinal Mooney Volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a resounding 3-0 sweep over Chaney. The home crowd was treated to an exciting match, with the scores reflecting Mooney’s dominance throughout the evening: 25-6, 25-14, 25-13.

The standout performances of Mooney’s players were a testament to their dedication and hard work. Leading the charge was Brinkley Bair, who recorded an impressive 10 kills and contributed 5 crucial digs. Amarra Anderson added to the offensive firepower with 6 kills and a powerful block. Jaida Lane showcased her versatility with 5 kills, 4 aces, and 3 solid blocks.

Natalie Blasko orchestrated the offense with precision, tallying an impressive 25 assists while also chipping in with 4 kills and 2 aces. Maria Pecchia’s defensive prowess was on full display as she notched 10 digs and served up 3 aces. Nina Santisi contributed significantly with 4 aces.

The victory on Senior Night was a fitting tribute to Mooney’s seniors, who have shown exceptional leadership and commitment throughout their high school volleyball journey. As they celebrated this special evening, their performance on the court showcased their skill and determination.
