PAVLANSKY POWERS BULLDOGS PAST GRAND VALLEY

Maggie Pavlansky did the opposing team no favors on Monday, picking up four hits over five at bats and leading Lakeview to a 17-3 win over Grand Valley. Pavlansky singled in the first, doubled in the fourth, and doubled twice in the fifth.

Lakeview fired up the offense in the first inning. Raegan Schick singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Bulldogs put up seven runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Gianna Caruso, Abbie Campana, and Kylie Imes and doubles by Olivia Kelm, Sammy Aey, and Pavlansky.

Ella Chadwick earned the victory on the rubber for Lakeview. The hurler allowed eight hits and three runs over five innings, striking out three and walking one.

Lakeview tallied 18 hits. Pavlansky, Schick, Aey, Campana, Kelm, and Caruso each managed multiple hits. Schick and Pavlansky each collected four hits to lead.

Grand Valley tallied eight hits on the day. Cooper and Hopes all managed multiple hits for Grand Valley.
