PROSPECTS GET LOCKED IN LATE

STRUTHERS OH- In Class B 16U action on Saturday, Prospects turned it on late to secure a 6-2 win over the 3B Barons.

Camron Herrick went the distance for the Prospects, giving up two runs (one earned) on eight hits, striking out ten, and not issuing a single walk. Jack Keilar took the loss for the Barons, allowing three runs on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings, striking out three and walking two.

Herrick also helped his own cause with two hits, two RBIs, and a run scored. Brixton Gilmour chipped in with two hits and two RBIs, while Santino Manniti added two hits and a run. Rocco Perkins contributed a hit and two RBIs.

For the Barons, Blake Scott and Chad Christopher each had two hits and scored a run.
