NEWTON FALLS OH- In a gripping Saturday afternoon matchup, Lowellville managed to withstand a furious comeback attempt by Newton Falls, securing a narrow 42-41 victory. The game’s intensity reached its peak as Newton Falls rallied in the fourth quarter, winning it decisively with a 20-8 run.
Lowellville’s offensive effort was led by Serinna Tych, who contributed 11 points, while Morgan Lewis added 8 points. Sydney Procick and Aubrey Kester chipped in 6 and 5 points, respectively, as the Rockets battled to maintain their lead.
