SCHULTZ THROWS FIRST NO HITTER REBELS SWEEP TWIN BILL

GAME 1:

McKenna Schultz was brilliant in the circle on Saturday, as Schultz threw a no-hitter to lead Crestview past Memorial 17-0.

Crestview got things moving in the first inning. Schultz doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

The Rebels put up eight runs in the third inning. Rebel batters contributing to the big inning included Kaedyn Sutton, Karsyn Moore, Kayla Deily, Katie Lissi, Jensyn Seabrook, and Shianna Mathes, who all drove in runs.

Schultz was the winning pitcher for Crestview. Schultz went five innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out eight.

Candella took the loss for Memorial. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing 13 hits and 17 runs.

Crestview Softball collected 13 hits on the day. Brooke Brubaker, Moore, Seabrook, and Deily each managed multiple. Deily, Seabrook, Moore, and Brubaker all had two hits to lead Crestview.

GAME 2:

Crestview defeated Memorial 11-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Kaedyn Sutton induced a groundout from Ava Tovainik to finish off the game.

Sutton led Crestview to victory by driving in four runs. Sutton went 3-for-4 at the plate. Sutton drove in runs on a triple in the first, a double in the first, and a single in the second.

The Rebels got on the board in the first inning when Sutton tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Memorial was a single by Tovarnak in the third inning.

Kayla Deily was the winning pitcher for Crestview. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out four and walking one.

Elash took the loss for Memorial. The hurler allowed nine hits and ten runs over two innings.

Sutton started the game for Crestview. The righthander went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking zero

The Rebels tallied 12 hits in the game. McKenna Schultz, Sutton, Karsyn Moore, and Alexis Smith each managed multiple hits for them. Sutton and Schultz all had three hits to lead Crestview.

Tovarnak led Memorial with one hit in two at bats.
