STUART NOT SO LITTLE

CORTLAND OH- In the ever-evolving sport of high school sports, leadership and a winning tradition are often the cornerstones of success. For Lakeview High School’s junior outside hitter and captain, Molly Stuart, these qualities come naturally. Stuart, along with her dedicated teammates, has embraced the challenge of filling the shoes of a remarkable senior class that graduated last year, and she’s doing so with an unwavering work ethic and a fierce competitive spirit.

Lakeview’s volleyball program has a storied history of dominance, and Stuart has quickly become a symbol of the team’s winning tradition. As a junior, she seamlessly transitioned into a leadership role, embodying the very qualities that define Lakeview’s approach to the sport. Her commitment to excellence and determination to compete at the highest level have set the tone for the entire team.

One of the key factors in Stuart’s successful leadership is the valuable guidance she received from the talented seniors of the previous year. Stuart readily acknowledges the impact these seniors had on her development, recognizing that their influence has played a crucial role in her journey.

On the court, Molly Stuart is a force to be reckoned with. She has seized the opportunity for increased playing time this season and has made the most of it. With 194 kills and 197 digs to her name, Stuart’s contributions to the team’s success are undeniable.
