CREEKSIDE SHUFFLES PAST WHITING

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Creekside Fitness just snuck out a close win Monday night at Bob Cene Park against the Whiting Roll-Offs 5-3.

At the plate Creekside was led by Wyatt Burchill, who went 2 for 3 and score two runs. Dylan Smith was the losing pitcher on the hill as he allowed one run on three hits with two strikeouts.

Hunter Garvin picked up the win on the mound this evening as he had an amazing performance that included no runs allowed, no hits allowed, and twelve strikeouts through five innings of work before being relieved by Hunter Kobialka, who allowed three runs on three hits with one strikeout through two innings of work. 

ATHLETIX BRING THE FIREWORKS

STRUTHERS, OHIO- On the eve of Independence Day, Atheltix took care of business by taking down Knightline 8-3 at Bob Cene Park.

Leading the way at the plate for Athletix was Dylan Simpson, Noah Adamson, and Kyler Bourne, who all went 1 for 2. Bourne knotched 2 RBI on the day to go along with his 1-2 day.  Jaden Wallace went 1-3 with a pair of RBI.  Adamson drew a walk and drove in a run.  

The winning pitcher of the evening was Ty Wilson, who allowed one run on one hit and sat down five batters at the plate. 

BALLISTIC PULLS OUT ALL THE STOPS

STRUTHERS OH- Ballistic Baseball used every tool in their tool chest on Tuesday night as they ran away from Dura Edge 8-2.

Plenty of batters for ballistic baseball were able to contribute to the offensive show. Leading the way for them was Michael Daley. He finished with two RBI going 1 for 2 at the plate and also drawing a walk. Tyler Wright was 1-3 on the day with a pair of runs knocked in. Owen Gazda had multiple hits going 2-3 with a RBI, a walk, and a run scored.

Cameron Huff got the win on the hill for Ballistic as he went 3 and a third with no earned runs and 5 hits.  He struck out a trio of hitters.

AVALANCHE BURN THROUGH EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Avalanche had a good outing Tuesday night at Bob Cene Park as they took down Eagle Wear 14-3.

At the plate, the Avalanche were led by Maddox Bell and Landon Whippo, who both went 2 for 4. David Moyer also knocked two hits in and scored two runs to help the Avalanche to victory.

Cole Gamertsfelder was the losing pitcher of the evening as he allowed five runs on five hits with four strikeouts. Peyton Ryhal was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed one run with three hits and sat down six batters at the plate. 

WHITING HANDS THE ASTRO FALCONS THEIR FIRST LOSS

STRUTHERS OH- In a summer that has seen the Astro Falcons run away with the standings so far, it almost seemed like they were unbeatable.  Whiting came into Sunday with different ideas though as they strutted their way to a 6-5 win ending the Falcons undefeated season.

Aidan Leiendecker led the Whiting offense on the day going 1-2 with a RBI and a run scored.  Nick Parrotto also knocked in a pair of RBI on a 1-3 day. He also drew a walk.  Caison Holland was a thorn in the Astro Falcons’ side going 3-4 with a RBI.

Jack Ray got the start on the mound for Whiting, and pitched wel. He lasted 6 innings and only gave up 2 earned runs on 5 hits.  He struck out 10 batters on the way to the win.

Joey Perry had 2 RBI for the Astro Falcons as he went 1-4.  John Chalus had multiple hits going 2-3 with a run scored and a RBI.  Dawson Wallace managed a 1-3 effort and crossed the plate once. He also drove in a run.

ATHLETIX FIND A WAY TO OPEN THE WEEK

STRUTHERS, OHIO- In what a close battle on the diamond between the Prospects and the Athletix, the Athletix scored late to secure a 3-2 win Sunday at Bob Cene Park.

Zach Pleska led thing as the plate for the Athletix as he went 3 for 3 and scored three runs. Brett McSparran was the losing pitcher off the hill as he allowed three runs on four hits with nine strikeouts.

The winning pitcher on the mound was Jack Leipheimer, who no runs and no hits with two strikeouts.

ASTRO FALCONS ARE EASY LIKE A SUNDAY MORNING

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Astro Falcons had no problem against Ballistic Baseball as they picked up a 13-1 victory Sunday at Bob Cene Park.

Chandler Maurice led the Falcons at the plate going 3 for 3. The losing pitcher of the evening was Taggart Carfangia, who allowed nine runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

The winning pitcher of the evening was Carson Klase, who allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts through five innings pitched. 

AVALANCHE MAKE ALL THE PLAYS

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Avalanche had a good outing Sunday at Bob Cene Park as they picked up a win against the Prospects by a score of 8-2.

The Avalanche were led at the plate by Nick Solderich and Noah Philson, who went 3 for 3, and Ivan Rudiak, Kayden Mayhew, and Rocky Serafino, who all went 2 for 3.

The winning pitcher of the evening was Evan Reiser, who allowed just three hits and had one strikeout.

ASTRO FALCONS BLAST THEIR WAY PAST EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Astro Falcons had a good outing tonight at Bob Cene Park as they got the best of Eagle Wear by a score of 12-0.

The Falcons were led at the plate by Jack Lutte, who went 2 for 3, and knocked in 3 RBI.  Antonio Cordeiro continues an impressive summer and had a 2 for 4 day. He was able to collect a pair of RBI.

Luke McCoy was a master on the mound. He tossed a 5 inning no hitter in the run rule win. In his 5 innings he was able to strike out 11 and only walked 3.  

CREEKSIDE WITH A LOUD RESPONSE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Ballistic Baseball just fell short Friday evening to Creekside Fitness by a score of 6-3.

Creekside was led by Payton Zupko and Nick Magnifico, who both went 2 for 3 at the plate. Ballistic was led by Brock White, who went 2 for 3, Brady Harman and Josh Wolf, who both went 2 for 2 at the plate.

Mitch Garvin was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed two runs on five hits.
