CRESTVIEW COMPLETES PROGRAMS FIRST PERFECT SEASON

In a historic regular season finale, Crestview made program history by finishing undefeated for the first time ever, with a stellar 22-0 record. The Rebels sealed their remarkable achievement with a commanding 64-33 road victory over LaBrae.

Leading the charge for Crestview was Addison Rhodes, who delivered a standout performance with 27 points, supported by Luvrain Gaskins contributing 18 points and Emily Downey adding 8 points to the winning effort.

Despite a spirited effort from LaBrae, with Ella Kuszmaul scoring 11 points, they couldn’t overcome Crestview’s dominance.

Now, Crestview (22-0) eagerly awaits the start of tournament play on February 21st, where they will face off against Andrew’s Osborne Academy. The Rebels enter the postseason with momentum and confidence, poised to make a deep run.

On the other hand, LaBrae (16-4) looks to fine-tune their game in a tournament tune-up opportunity against Cardinal on Monday, gearing up for postseason action.

COLUMBIANA OH- In a thrilling senior night showdown, Crestview secured their 21st victory this season by defeating Garfield 76-17. Addison Rhodes led the charge with an impressive 33 points, supported by Luvrain Gaskins with 15 points and Myer Miller with 11 points. Emily Downey and Bri DiCross contributed 5 points each.

On the opposing side, Mandy Cardinal scored 7 points for Garfield, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Crestview’s dominant performance. Crestview, now 21-0, is poised to tie the program record for wins if they triumph against LaBrae on Monday. Meanwhile, Garfield (3-14) will face Brookfield in their upcoming matchup.

REBELS CLAIM AT LEAST A SHARE OF THE MVAC THRONE

In a resounding display of dominance, Crestview secured at least a share of the MVAC title on Monday night, defending their home court against Champion with a convincing 55-40 victory. The Rebels wasted no time asserting control, building a commanding 30-12 lead by halftime.

Leading the charge for Crestview was the dynamic Addison Rhodes, who showcased her scoring prowess with an impressive 20 points. Luvrain Gaskins contributed 14 points, while Myer Miller, Bri DiCross, and Lexi Blower each added 6 points, highlighting the team’s well-rounded offensive performance.

Champion fought valiantly, with Bella Meyer leading their offensive efforts with 13 points. Kayla Haynie contributed 9 points, while Sam Strock and Kennedy Caldwell added 6 and 5 points, respectively.

CAMBELL RUNS WILD ON THE REBELS

CAMPBELL OH- In a dominant display, Campbell ran wild on Tuesday night, overpowering Crestview with a resounding 69-21 victory.

Campbell’s offensive prowess was led by standout performances, with David Moore leading the charge with an impressive 18 points, closely followed by Josue Rodriguez contributing 16 points. Christos Davis, Mihali Koullias, and Teyon Harris also made valuable contributions, each adding significant points to the scoreboard.

Crestview faced a formidable opponent, and Justin McKee managed to score 6 points for the Rebels.

With this commanding win, Campbell (10-4) will carry their momentum into the upcoming matchup on Friday as they hit the road to face Garfield. On the other side, Crestview (3-10) looks to bounce back and find winning ways on Friday when they take on Brookfield.

CRESTVIEW STILL RIDING HIGH

COLUMBIANA OH- Maintaining their unblemished league record, Crestview displayed dominance on Monday night with a commanding 60-14 victory over Brookfield.

Addison Rhodes led Crestview’s scoring onslaught with an impressive 26 points, supported by Luvrain Gaskins contributing 12 points, Lexi Blower with 9 points, and Emily Downey adding 5 points to the team’s total.

Brookfield’s offensive efforts were led by Mya Jumper, who contributed 6 points.

Crestview (18-0) aims to preserve their perfect record as they face Newton Falls on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brookfield (6-11) looks to regroup and get back on track as they face LaBrae on Thursday, seeking a positive turn of fortunes.

VIKINGS OFFENSE PREVAILS OVER CRESTVIEW

LEAVITTSBURG, OH- The LaBrae Viking offense is worth the price of admission, and on Tuesday night- they showed why en route to an 85-46 win over MVAC rival, Crestview.

The Vikes splashed 28 points right out of the gate in the first quarter, only giving up ten, which set the tone for the likes of their three-headed monster in David Blackmon, Derek Wilson, and Austin Rowe- who accounted for 69 of the team’s 85 points on the night.  Wilson led the way with 31 points, followed by Rowe with 22, and Wilson with 16.  Jay McGarry had seven tallies, and Jaxson Lancaster and Owen Boone each chipped in four.

LaBrae would win every quarter’s scoring totals during the contest.

The Rebels were led by valiant efforts from Jonathan Best with 16 points, Justin McKee with a dozen, and Jameson English with seven points and four assists on the night.

LaBrae improves to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in the league, while Crestview is 3-9 and 3-4 in the MVAC.  The Rebels will play host to Liberty on Friday night.
