REBELS GET ALL THEY WANT IN THE FIELDHOUSE

STRUTHERS OH- In a hard-fought battle against the Wildcats, Crestview faced a resilient Struthers team on Monday night. The game remained tightly contested, with Crestview holding a narrow 31-30 lead after three quarters. However, the Rebels showcased their composure, making clutch plays down the stretch to secure a 48-37 victory.

Luvrain Gaskins led the charge for Crestview with an impressive 15 points, supported by Addison Rhodes contributing 10 points and Myer Miller adding 9 points.

On the Struthers side, Natalie Adams and Emma Morris each scored 9 points, with Gianna Martin contributing 6 points to the effort.

With this win, Crestview (16-0) achieved a remarkable feat, tying the school record for most consecutive wins. The Rebels will look to extend their streak as they face Campbell on Thursday. Meanwhile, Struthers (3-11) will aim to bounce back at home, hosting South Range in conference play.

CRESTVIEW’S PERFECTION CONTINUES

COLUMBIANA OH- Maintaining their unbeaten streak, Crestview showcased their dominance on Thursday by swiftly defeating Liberty at home with an impressive score of 67-26.

Key players for Crestview included Addison Rhodes, delivering a stellar performance with 17 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals for a remarkable double-double. Emily Downey contributed 12 points, while Luvrain Gaskins secured a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Ava Bucey added 10 points, and Myer Miller chipped in with 7 points.

With an unblemished record of 15-0, Crestview sets their sights on maintaining their undefeated status as they travel to Struthers on Monday. Liberty, with a 1-11 record, is gearing up to host South Range for their next matchup on Monday.

CRESTVIEW KEEPS THEIR FOOTHOLD AT THE TOP OF THE MVAC

COLUMBIANA OH- Crestview maintained their stronghold on the MVAC’s top spot with a commanding 65-27 triumph over LaBrae. The second and third quarters proved pivotal as Crestview outscored LaBrae 47-11 during that stretch.

Addison Rhodes led Crestview’s scoring barrage with an impressive 24 points, followed by Ava Bucey contributing 11 points. Emily Downey and Luvrain Gaskins each added 9 points, while Myer Miller chipped in with 7 points.

Despite LaBrae’s effort, Emma Kuszmaul’s 13 points weren’t enough to overcome Crestview’s dominant performance.

Crestview, now boasting a flawless 14-0 record, sets their sights on hosting Liberty in their upcoming Thursday matchup. LaBrae, at 9-2, aims to rebound as they hit the road to face Garfield on Thursday.

REBELS PASS TEST IN POLAND

POLAND OH- In a notable matchup, Crestview showcased their prowess on the road, defeating Poland with a convincing 54-32 victory. The Rebels dominated the final quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 16-6.

Leading the charge for Crestview, Addison Rhodes delivered an outstanding performance with 24 points, while Luvrain Gaskins contributed 17 points. Ava Bucey added 6 points to the Rebels’ well-rounded offensive effort.

Despite the efforts of Poland’s Sophia Generalovich, Elliana Thompson, and Leanne Williams, the Bulldogs couldn’t overcome Crestview’s defensive tenacity.

With this statement win, Crestview remains undefeated at 13-0 and will face LaBrae at home on Monday, with the top spot in the conference at stake. Poland (6-5) will regroup for a Thursday matchup against Struthers.

NEWTON FALLS SURVIVES REBEL STORM

COLUMBIANA, OH- Despite the 16-point first quarter, Crestview failed to keep pace with MVAC rival, Newton Falls on Friday- falling 47-34 to the Tigers.

Landon McGregor led the Tigers with 14 points, which included 7 points in the first stanza.  Cam Huff plugged in 9 points including two big shots from deep.  Zach Stinson spread out a bucket in 3/4 quarters to the tune of six points in the contest.  Falls was supplemented with scoring from Alex Stinson, Carson Howard, Ethan Powell and Jabriel Rupai who all scored 3 points apiece.

For Crestview, Justin McKee led the way with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the Rebels.  Jonathan Best had 8 points comprised of a field goal, a three-pointer, and three free throws, and Tyler Savage posted six points and 11 boards.  Jameson English had 5 assists to go along with a four-point performance.

Crestview drops to 2-2 in the MVAC, and 2-7 overall.

MEYER GETS 1,000 CRESTVIEW GETS FIRST PLACE

WARREN OH- In a thrilling conference matchup, the Crestview Rebels maintained their unblemished record, securing a hard-fought victory against the Champion Flashes with a final score of 45-37.

Crestview wasted no time asserting their dominance, establishing a commanding lead of 17-7 after the first quarter. However, Champion responded resiliently, narrowing the gap to 24-20 by halftime. The game remained tightly contested, and by the end of the third quarter, the score was deadlocked at 32-32, setting the stage for a decisive final period.
The Rebels rose to the occasion in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Flashes 13-5 to seal the victory with a final score of 45-37. Luvrain Gaskins was

instrumental in Crestview’s success, earning the title of Player of the Game with a stellar performance that included 18 points, 8 of which came in the crucial fourth quarter, and a strong presence on the boards. Addison Rhodes contributed 11 points, while Emily Downey added 8 points to the Rebels’ scoring effort.
On the opposing side, Isabella Meyer showcased her scoring prowess by leading the game with 20 points, reaching a significant milestone of 1000 points in her career.


With this win, Crestview extended their undefeated streak to 11-0 (5-0) and is set to face Garrettsville Garfield (1-5)(1-3) on Thursday, January 4th. Meanwhile, Champion, with a record of 6-5 (3-1), will hit the road to take on Brookfield (3-6)(2-2) on Saturday, December 30th, with a tip-off scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Both teams look forward to continuing their strong performances in the upcoming matchups. REBELS STILL RUNNING SMOOTH

COLUMBIANA OH- Crestview demonstrated unwavering composure in the face of a non-conference challenge from Salem on Thursday night. The Rebels showcased a robust defense, countering Salem’s speed en route to a convincing 51-36 victory.

Leading the charge for Crestview, Luvrain Gaskins delivered an outstanding performance, tallying an impressive 23 points. Addison Rhodes contributed significantly with 15 points, while Myer Miller and Emily Downey added 7 and 5 points, respectively.

Salem, despite their efforts, faced a formidable Crestview defense. Rylee Hutton led Salem’s scoring efforts with 14 points, supported by Lauryn Barton’s 8 points.

The win maintains Crestview’s unblemished record at 10-0, setting the stage for a highly anticipated clash with Champion for first place in the MVAC next Thursday. Kerrigan Miller played a pivotal role with 5 points and 4 assists, contributing to Crestview’s well-rounded effort.

LIONS CANT GET CLOSE TO CRESTVIEW’S LEVEL

Addison Rhodes led the scoring charge for Crestview with an outstanding 25 points, followed closely by Luvrain Gaskins contributing 16 points. Emily Downey added 11 points, while Bri DiCross chipped in with 6 points.

CRESTVIEW TROUNCES LADY DEVILS

COLUMBIANA, OH- In a lopsided victory, the Crestview Rebels showcased their dominance on the court by defeating Campbell Memorial with an overwhelming scoreline of 63-5 in Monday’s matchup.

The Rebels, led by standout performances, maintained their perfect record, improving to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the MVAC Grey Tier.

Key Performances for Crestview included Addison Rhodes, who was a force to be reckoned with, Rhodes recorded a double-double with a game-high 22 points, 12 rebounds, and six steals.  Luvrain Gaskins displaying versatility, Gaskins contributed significantly with 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Brianna DiCross as a freshman point guard showcased exceptional playmaking skills, tallying an impressive 10 assists.  Emily Downey was a machine with seven assists and four steals, Downey played a crucial role in Crestview’s well-rounded performance.

The Rebels wasted no time asserting their dominance, establishing an 18-0 lead in the first quarter and extending it to 37-2 by halftime.

The Rebels’ junior varsity team also claimed victory, securing a 26-5 win over Campbell Memorial. Phiatra Bradley led the scoring for the junior varsity squad with seven points.

Crestview’s next challenge will be on the road against Brookfield on Thursday, where they aim to continue their undefeated streak.
