CHANEY FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP. 5) WITH CHRIS AMILL

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Coach Chris Amill and the Chaney Cowboys are coming off a huge victory in week four as they shut out the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals 30-0. Up next for the Cowboys will be a road test against the Canfield Cardinals on Friday night.

The GM of YSN, Steve Leslie, had the opportunity to catch up with Coach Amill this week to talk about what the ‘Boys need to do to keep to their winning ways against a talented Canfield squad, what he and his staff have planned for us this week but also moving forward as the playoffs are one week closer, and much more!

CANFIELD FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP. 5) WITH MIKE PAVLANSKY

CANFIELD, OH – Coach Mike Pavlansky and his Canfield Cardinals hit the road in week four for the first time this season as they traveled down to Dover to take on the Crimson Tornadoes. The Cards didn’t skip a beat as they kept their winning streak alive with a 31-10 victory. Up next for Canfield is a home game against the Chaney Cowboys at Bob Dove Field on Friday night.

YSN’s own legend, Steve Leslie, had the pleasure of talking with Coach Pav this week to discuss his thoughts on the Dover game, some of the intricacies that go into keeping everyone focused as the season continues, and what the Cards need to do in week five to extend the winning streak.

SOUTH RANGE FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP. 3) WITH DAN YEAGLEY

CANFIELD, OH – Coach Dan Yeagley and the South Range Raiders took care of business again in week three against the Niles Red Dragons, winning 35-7, and a big win on the road against Jefferson. Up next for South Range will be a regular-season home finale against Struthers this Friday night.

YSN’s own, D.J. Yokley, was able to catch up with Coach Yeagley this week to discuss the Raiders 4-0 start, what Coach and his staff have in store for us in week four against Jefferson, and also what the Raiders are looking to do in the postseason as the playoffs keep inching closer and closer.

SALEM, OH – Head coach Ron Johnson and his Salem Quakers football squad are looking to bounce back after a hard-fought game against Marlington last week. Up next for the Quakers will be a road test against the Minerva Lions on Friday night.

Coach Q and the Rebels will be hitting the road in week four however, as they will travel down to East Liverpool to take on the Potters this Friday night.

LEETONIA FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH PAUL HULEA

LEETONIA OH- The Bears couldnt have asked for a better start to their 2020 season. They come in to week 4 with a record of 3-0. In week 4 the Bears travel to Wellsville to take on the 1-2 Tigers.

The Bears are coming off a win against their rivals Lisbon in the Spaghetti Bowl. It’s all sunshine in Bear Country as now Leetonia is rolling along. Marco Ferry has been as dominant as always. Wellsville comes into the game this week off a 45-21 loss to United.

Coach Paul Hulea called in to Running Point to chat with YSN’s Ron Potesta. They talk about the success the Bears have seen this season, what to expect from this week’s match up, and much more. BEAVER LOCAL FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP. 2) WITH MIKE MCKENZIE

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH – Coming off a massive 49-0 victory over Indian Creek, Coach Mike McKenzie and the Beaver Local Beavers are looking to keep that momentum going as they will play host to Minerva on Friday night.

The voice of YSN Beaver Local, Michael McKenzie, had the opportunity to sit down with Coach McKenzie to discuss the huge win over Indian Creek, what the Beavers and his coaching staff took away from that game to help them keep winning, but also what Coach McKenzie expects from his squad this week against the Lions.

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- The Potters have to deal with their first taste of adversity after losing to St Clairesville in week 3 34-20.  There is no rest for the weary in East Liverppol as the Potters prepare for a tough test in Crestview.  The Rebels come in to this week with the same record as the Potters.  They’ve won two in a row after dropping their season opener to Champion.

WELLSVILLE, OH – Week three saw Coach Moose Ramsey and the Wellsville Tigers travel to Hanoverton to take on the Golden Eagles of United Local; the Tigers scratched and clawed all night long but fell just short at the end of the game. Up next for Wellsville will be a home contest as they will welcome in the Bears of Leetonia on Friday night.
