RAIDERS ROLLING ON ALL CYLINDERS

CANFIELD OH- South Range is on yer another playoff run. That’s become a normal thing in the 25 years of head coach Dan Yeagley’s tenure with the program. The Raiders have advanced to the regional semifinals with a 49-16 drumming of Beachwood.

The Raiders set the tone early, marching down the field on their first drive. After Michael Patrone hit Jake Gehring for a long pass up the middle, Dylan Dominguez capped off the drive with a trip to the endzone from 3 yards out. Later in the half, Luke Blasko bolted for a 46 yard touchdown on a reverse, and then after a turnover Dominguez scampered to a 48 yard touchdown run. Beachwood was keeping afloat, trailing just 21-10 just before halftime. Then Patrone found Luke Crumbacher for a massive 57 yard score to make it 28-10 before the half. The Raiders kept their foot on the gas and outscored the Bison 28-6 in the second half.

South Range now sets their sights on an all to familiar foe. The Raiders will host Crestview, who is coming off a big upset over Garfield. That game is set for Saturday at 7:00.
