DURA EDGE TAKES 2024 NABF WORLD SERIES

STRUTHERS OH- Sunday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, Dura Edge took the NABF Senior Division Championship with a 16-9 victory over Avalanche.

Jacob Rynd contributed two hits, an RBI, and scored twice. Alex Zordich added two hits, an RBI, and a run, while Alex Eusebio had a double, a triple, an RBI, and scored twice.

For Avalanche, Grayson Eicher had two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Jack Strausser led with three hits, including a double, three RBIs, and a run. Tyler Mikulin added two hits, including a double and a run, and Drew Gault had two hits, including a double, two RBIs, and scored twice.

AVALANCHE WIN OFFENSIVE BOUT WITH ATHLETIX

STRUTHERS OH- In a high-scoring semifinal at the NABF Senior Division World Series, Avalanche took down Athletix 16-12.

Carter Dejulia had a monster game with four hits, including a double, driving in seven runs and scoring three times. Jack Strausser chipped in with two hits, three RBIs, and two runs. Jason Malley smashed two doubles, bringing in five runs. Noah Philson and Grayson Eicher each added two hits, with Eicher scoring five times and driving in one.

For Athletix, CJ Frasco had two hits, including a triple, with three RBIs and two runs. Gavin Fallgren doubled twice, driving in four runs and scoring twice. Tyler Wardle added a double, an RBI, and scored two times.

DURA EDGE SNEAKS PAST ASTRO IN THE SEMIS

STRUTHERS OH- In a thrilling semifinal clash at the NABF Senior Division World Series 18U, Dura Edge edged out the Astro Falcons 6-4.

Alex Zordich led the charge with two doubles and two RBIs. Eddie Dolansky had three hits and scored twice, while Ethan Feezle and Andrew Porto each added a double and an RBI.

Luca Fronzaglio sealed the win, pitching the last three innings, allowing just one hit and no runs while striking out one.

For the Falcons, Aari Fox had two hits and a run, and Blake Primrose added two hits, including a triple, driving in two runs.

ATHLETIX KEEP UP THEIR IMPRESSIVE WEEKEND

STRUTHERS OH- In a Saturday afternoon NABF 18U showdown at Bob Cene Park, Athletix powered past the Troy Legends 7-3.

CJ Frasco led the charge with three hits, including a triple, driving in three runs and scoring once. Dom Zitello chipped in with two hits and two runs, while Gavin Fallgren added two hits, an RBI, and a run. Evan Tice had two hits and an RBI, and Logan Cypher doubled, driving in a run and scoring once.

Konnor Brogan pitched five solid innings for the win, allowing four hits and one earned run while striking out five.

FALCONS ARE THE ONES THAT CREATE HAVOC

STRUTHERS OH- Saturday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, Astro Falcons crushed Hambden Havoc 12-0 in a lopsided NABF 18U game.

Danny Pederson and Nik Kyprianoi each had two hits and scored three runs. Blake Primrose added two hits, including a double, driving in two runs and scoring twice. AJ Verdi chipped in with two hits, two RBIs, and a run.

Klase Carson pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just one hit while striking out four. Cody Fischer managed the only hit for Havoc.

ATHLETIX DONT SEE A PROBLEM WITH SAYO

STRUTHERS OH- Saturday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, Athletix put on a show, demolishing Sayo Grays 14-0.

Paul Gubba and Andrew Brown each had two hits, an RBI, and scored twice. Tyler Wardle added three hits, an RBI, and a run. Luke Gehring doubled, driving in two runs, while CJ Frasco also doubled, adding two RBIs and scoring twice.

Cale Moraski pitched two innings for the shutout win, allowing no hits and striking out four. Peter Cruz had the only hit for Sayo Grays.

DURA EDGE ENERGIZES THEIR OFFENSE

STRUTHERS OH- In a high-energy NABF 18U game on Saturday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, Dura Edge outslugged Ohio Tide 9-5.

Jacob Rynd scored twice on two hits, and Alex Zordich also had two hits. Ethan Feezle was on fire with three hits, including a double, driving in four runs and scoring twice. Eddie Dolansky added a double, an RBI, and two runs.

Emmitt Filisky pitched six innings for the win, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out twelve.

For Ohio Tide, Hayden Prohaska had two hits, including a double, an RBI, and a run. Brandon Lurie had two hits and a run, Joseph Payne had two hits and two runs, and Tim Gonakis had two hits, including a double, driving in two runs and scoring once.

ITS HARD TO STOP A MOVING AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- Saturday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, Avalanche cruised to an 11-1 victory over East Coast MI.

Jack Strausser led the way with two hits, including a double, an RBI, and a run. Bennett Hayne chipped in with two hits, an RBI, and two runs. Noah Philson had two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Grayson Eicher was hot at the plate, racking up three hits, three RBIs, and a run.

Cam Foy was solid on the mound, pitching a complete game, allowing just four hits and no earned runs while striking out seven.

 

FALCONS DO JUST ENOUGH TO STAY UNBEATEN

STRUTHERS OH- Friday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, the Astro Falcons squeaked past Dura Edge with a 6-5 win.

AJ Verdi led the Falcons with a double, two RBIs, and a run. Andrew Porto had two hits for Dura Edge.

Astro Falcons came out swinging, scoring 4 runs in the first inning. They added 2 more in the 5th, which proved crucial as Dura Edge rallied with 5 runs in the bottom of the inning. Despite the late push, the Falcons held on for the win.

ASTRO FALCONS STILL ON A ROLL

STRUTHERS OH- Friday afternoon at Bob Cene Park, the Astro Falcons dominated Ohio Tide 13-1 in the NABF 18U game.

Aari Fox led with two hits, including a double, an RBI, and a run. Ben Kern also had two hits, including a double, driving in two runs and scoring twice. AJ Verdi chipped in with two hits, two RBIs, and two runs, while Danny Pederson had three hits and scored twice. Andres Hurkmans smacked a triple, driving in three runs and scoring once. Brodie Kuzior and Brady Alexander each hit a double, driving in a run and scoring twice.

Tyler Wright was solid on the mound, pitching a complete game, giving up two hits and one run while striking out eight.

For Ohio Tide, Tim Gonakis managed a double, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Falcons’ onslaught.
