TIGERS SHOW THEIR TEETH

HOWLAND OH- Last season it was Crestview boys soccer who put an area team in the state tournament. The Rebels wanted to test their status out of the jump in 2022 as they took on state power house Howland. It was the Tigers that flexed their muscles in this battle as they trounced Crestview 8-0.

Jet Hua scored in the opening minute for the Tigers to set the tone for what would prove to be a powerful offensive attack that overwhelmed Crestview.

CRESTVIEW VOLLEYBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH ALISHA AUER

COLUMBIANA OH- Crestview has been one of the most consistently successful volleyball programs in the area. They are coming off a thrilling season where they finished the regular season undefeated, and came within two points of a huge upset over Independence in regionals. While they lost some key pieces to graduation, they have a handful of familiar names returning, and a ton of new faces to be excited about. Could this be the season that Crestview takes the next step and punches a ticket to Wright State? Alisha Auer hopes so as she returns for yet another season leading g this dominant program.

Coach Auer came on YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about her returning stars, and some new faces fans will have to take note of. She also talks to Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about how hungry the team is after last season, how they’ve been able to sustain success, and so much more.
