In an exhilarating volleyball showdown, Springfield emerged victorious in a thrilling five-set match against Brookfield, with scores of 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 28-26, and 17-15. The intensity of the game kept fans on the edge of their seats, and both teams exhibited exceptional skill and determination.

Springfield showcased a balanced attack, with several key players making significant contributions. Baelyn Brungard was a standout, tallying 18 kills, 16 digs, and 20 service points, demonstrating her versatility on both offense and defense. Jameka Brungard provided crucial support with 15 kills and 11 digs, while Mariah Jones added 11 kills and 15 digs to the team’s effort. Cali Matey contributed with 12 digs, Ana Tuscano showcased her serving skills with seven aces, and Karigan Mullen orchestrated the offense with an impressive 44 assists.

On the Brookfield side, the team displayed remarkable defensive efforts. Cailey Wellman led the team in digs with 12, followed closely by Leah Wlodarski with 9 and Alexia Baker with 8. Rylie Burdge contributed with 15 assists, facilitating the team’s offensive plays. In terms of blocks and kills, Wellman and Marae Craig made their presence known, recording 5 blocks and 13 kills, respectively. Sarah Lindholm added 6 kills and 4 aces, while Leah Wlodarski and MaRae Craig chipped in with multiple aces and kills.
