UNITED SNEAKS AWAY WITH WIN OVER TIGERS

HANOVERTON OH- Friday night’s EOAC matchup between United and Wellsville is one that most pundits would pick the Tigers to win. Wellsville has been a mainstay near the top of the conference for years. The Eagles had other plans though, as they put together a solid team effort to shock the Tigers 58-52.

Parker Berdine led the Eagles with 15 points on the night. Steffen Jarrett was right on his coattails putting a strong 14 points into the stat sheet. Ward Kiko added 9 points for the Eagles as well.

The Tigers were paced by Jaxson Brewster who scored a game-high 18 points. Isaiah Greathouse contributed 17 points as well for the Tigers. Gavin Kountz put it 9 points to the Tigers cause.

United will return to action Tuesday as they host Crestview. Wellsville will try to bounce back Friday against Southern at home.
