WARRIORS RAGE ON IN LABRAE

LEAVITTSBURG, OH – Whenever it comes to MVAC league play, the teams never disappoint you, no matter which way the game goes. On Thursday night, LaBrae hosted Brookfield and Brookfield wanted to show what they’re capable of. Both teams kept each other in check for most of the first half, but the Lady Warriors slowly opened up the game late in the second quarter and it was all Brookfield from there. In the third quarter, Brookfield shrugged off an early attack by Labrae by putting up 16 points to give them a 36-15 lead after three quarters. The Lady Warriors would go on to completely shut down the Lady Viking, forcing turnovers and keeping LaBrae at 0-6 shots from the field. Brookfield would get more balanced scoring in the fourth to secure the victory, 54-20. 

For Brookfield, Aubrey Reardon led the Lady Warriors with 16 points. Sophia Hook added 13 on the night.

For LaBrae, Laura McCoy had 6 points on the night for the Lady Vikings.

These two teams will meet again on Saturday, as Brookfield will be hosting Labrae. Don’t miss it on YSN!
