WARRIORS SCORE AT WILL

BELOIT OH- The girls soccer team shut out Minerva today 11-0 in its EBC opener.  Overall, the team is 5-0-2 and 1-0-0 in the EBC.

Zoe Sanders made three saves to earn the shutout.  It is her 19th career shutout which ties a school record owned by Rachel Kocher Basalla who accomplished the feat from 1998-2001.

Leading the Warriors with four goals tonight was Chloe Dennison.  With her four goals, Dennison now has nine goals in her last two games.  Last week she scored five against Ursuline which tied a single game record held with Cheryl Davies Ficco and Laura Bandy Beach who each scored five goals in a game in 1999.

Sophia Gregory and Caidee Schroeder each scored a pair of goals for the Warriors.  Kennedy Berger, Presley Egli, and Ashley Rinehart finished the scoring for the winners.

Recording five assists tonight, which is a new school record, was Bri Thomas.  The previous record of four was held by Vana Morgan set in 2002.

Sam Koneval, Rinehart, Berger, Dennison, and Gregory also each added an assist for West Branch.

The Warriors next match will be on Saturday against Chagrin Falls.  The varsity game is scheduled to start at 1 PM.
