WARRIORS WAGE WAR WITH NEWTON FALLS

LORDSTOWN OH- Brookfield has a lot of offensive firepower, and it’s known to take over games.  On Thursday night against Newton Falls the Warriors fired up the scoring and cruised to a 56-37 victory over the Tigers in Lordstown.

It was another big night for Sophia Hook who led the Warriors with 21 points, and 5 steals.  Cailey Wellman added another double double to her utility belt as she finished with 15 points and 13 boards.  Katie Gibson was also in double figures for Brookfield with 12 points.

Newton Falls was led by Natalee Albert, and Dani Drake both scoring 9 points.  Shelby Fowler contributed 7 points to the Tigers offense.

Both teams are back in action on Monday as Brookfield will travel to Garfield and Newton Falls will host Campbell at Lordstown.
