Coach's Corner

ATWATER OH- There’s a plethora of fall sports coming just around the bend for the Mahoning Valley. Soccer is included in that, and our area is full of talent. One of the more exciting programs coming in to this season is Waterloo’s girls team. They return a ton of experience, including Kaira English who broke the school record last season with 54 goals on the campaign. Waterloo enters the year with a new head coach in Bill Jackson who looks to carry the program to new highs.

Coach Jackson came on YSN’s Running Point to help us get a peak into what the Vikings season will look like. He talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Eric Bailey about his returning leaders, the people that have been important to getting off to a good start with the team, and so much more. Waterloo opens the season on August 22nd at Newton Falls. Check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner to get ready for the season opener.
