FROM ZERO TO A MILLION

COLUMBIANA, OH- The Columbiana Basketball Team has been blessed with some great players to trot the court in their history.  Almost too many to name.  However, any time you talk about breaking the records of a Clipper Hall of Famer like Troy Berdine- it’s going to catch the eyes of many who have followed the program throughout the years.

That’s exactly what Columbiana Senior Nick Million did earlier this year- the single-game point record that Berdine had held since 1985 was toppled when Million put 41 together in a single game this season.  Million also now holds the single-game record for three-pointers (9) and three-pointers in a season.

While breaking all these records and showcasing his talents for the Red and White, Nick has been making his dream come true of playing college basketball, as on February 11th, Million broke the news that he would continue his athletic and academic pursuits at Geneva College- and join fellow Columbiana County standout Drake Golden as a Tornado.

Nick has worked on his craft and takes a ton of pride in the number he wears- just like those that came before him.  We asked Nick who he feels can carry on the legacy of what’s become part of Clipper Tradition in this week’s Columbiana Player Profile: From Zero to a Million!
