BALLISTIC PITCHING SHINES THIS TIME AROUND

STRUTHERS OH- In Friday’s Class B 18U action, Ballistic edged out Creekside 3-1 in a tight pitcher’s duel.

Ballistic managed to capitalize on their chances at the plate. Elijah Muckle drove in 2 runs with a 1-for-3 performance, while Jake Stashko added an RBI. Ian Wong went 1-for-3 and scored a run, and RJ Fischer was solid, going 2-for-3 and crossing the plate once.

On the mound, Tyler Wright started strong for Ballistic, pitching 3 innings, allowing 5 hits but no earned runs, and striking out 3. Austin Bakowski took over and shut things down, throwing 4 innings of no-hit ball and fanning 7 batters.

Creekside had their moments too. Frank Senediak went 1-for-3 and drove in their lone run. Wyatt Burchill was patient at the plate, going 1-for-1 and drawing 3 walks. Mason Petridis, Tyler Mikulin, and Derek Curry each chipped in with a hit.

Brant Barilaro was impressive on the mound for Creekside, pitching 5.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, and striking out 8.
