BALLISTIC SHOWS OFF LATE GAME HEROICS

STRUTHERS OH- In a thrilling Class B 18U matchup on Saturday, Ballistic Baseball edged out Avalanche with an 8-7 victory at Bob Cene Park.

The game was a nail-biter from start to finish. Avalanche scored a run in the top of the seventh to take a narrow 7-6 lead. But Ballistic wasn’t done yet—they rallied in the bottom half, scoring twice to clinch the win. Nik Kyprionou picked up the win in relief for Ballistic, while Jason Malley took the tough loss for Avalanche.

Boyd Kurutz led the charge for Ballistic with three hits, two runs, and two RBIs. Danny Pederson also had three hits, including a double, and scored twice. Ian Wong added an RBI triple, and Hunter Wilson contributed an RBI single and a run.

For Avalanche, Malley had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Noah Philson chipped in with two hits, a run, and an RBI, while Drew Gault added a double and a run.
