BEAVERS FALL SHORT AGAINST OAK GLEN

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH- Beaver Local got things started in the first inning. Avery Wiegand drove in two when he went yard- torn hamstring and all.

Oak Glen pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Seanessy Adkins drew a walk, scoring one run and Tyler Mckay drew a walk, scoring one run.

Danny Bridges took the win for Oak Glen. The fireballer surrendered four runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out four.

Ethan Agnew took the loss for Beaver LocalAgnew went four innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out one.  Beaver Local socked one home run on the day. Wiegand had a four-bagger in the first inning.

Dorian Jackson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Beaver Local in hits.

Oak Glen collected eight hits. TJ DeCapio and Hunter Rhoades each had multiple hits for Oak Glen.
