BROOKFIELD ENDS SEASON STRONG

The first part of a Varsity double-header at Crestview gymmasium saw the lady Warriors from Brookfield  defeating the Lady Rebels from Crestview 53-40.

The Warriors started with an early 1st quarter lead 15-7.  However, the Rebels battled back in the second quarter outscoring the Warriors 15-8 to be down by 1 at the halfway point.  Cailey Wellman had other things in mind as she lead all scoring for the Warriors scoring 12 of her 14 points in the second half.  

Luvrain Gaskins lead the Rebels scoring putting up 16 points with 6 of those points coming from the foul line.

Others scoring for the Warriors well balanced attack were Katie Gibson (11), Anna Reichert (8), Sophia Hook (7), Mikenzie Jumper (5), Katie Logan (4), Audrey Reardon (2), and Abby DeJoy (2).

Wrapping up the regular season schedule for the Rebels scoring Emily Hill (8), McKenna Schultz (5), Emily Downey (5), Katie Lissi (4), and Reagan Edwards (2).

The Lady Warriors will host the Campbell Memorial Lady Red Devils on 2/16 for the start of their playoff run.

While the Lady Rebels will head to Andover to play against the Lady Pirates from Pymatuning Valley on 2/16 also.
