BULLDOGS NEVER QUIT

POLAND OH- The highly anticipated game between Canfield and Poland finally took place on Tuesday night. The newest installment of the Battle of 224 did not disappoint. In a game where Canfield had three separate ten point leads, it was the Bulldogs ahead at the final horn. Poland came back every time. They won by the toll of 52-50.

Connie Cougras led the Bulldogs with a game-high 17 points. She was helped out by Mary Brant who added 9 points. Morgan Kluchar was important against a sizable Cardinal defense, she scored 8. Katie McDonald added 7.

Alyssa Dill paced Canfield with 14 points. Abby Muckleroy was also in double figures with 11 points. Summer Sammarone added 8 points to the Cardinals cause.

Poland will now look ahead to another non conference matchup with Boardman on Monday.
