CANFIELD SURGES TO AVOID THIRD CONFERENCE LOSS

In a thrilling comeback, Canfield surged late to secure their first AAC victory of the season, triumphing over Howland with a final score of 53-45. The pivotal third quarter proved decisive as Canfield erupted for an impressive 29 points.

Jenna Triveri led the charge for Canfield with 18 points, complemented by Camie Dill’s 14 points and Cami Hritz’s 12 points. Grace McQuiston added 6 points, contributing to the team’s dynamic performance.

Howland, despite the setback, had strong individual efforts, notably from Maya Kubanscek with 14 points and Jessie DeSalvo with 7 points.
