CAMPBELL, OH – On the heels of a convincing victory over Salem in 3 sets, Coach Tyler Allen and the Red Devils will look to keep moving forward as they host conference opponent, Newton Falls.  The team sits at 1-1 and is excited to turn that first win into a streak.

YSN’s own Steve Leslie sat down with Coach Allen this week at Tavern 26 to talk about the season so far, how his five year journey has led to this talented team, what his summer program was like, what his takeaways were from the Salem game after coming off a tough loss against Hubbard, and an outlook moving forward for the 2023 season!

CAMPBELL, OH – After opening the season with a huge win over East Palestine, the Red Devils are working to build success and momentum.  Coach Atsas brings years of experience to the program and is excited about the growth and the future of the program.

NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – Head coach Justin Kosek and the Springfield Lady Tigers soccer team came into the 2023 season with high expectations as they return a good group of players that had a solid 2022 season as they finished 12-6-2. Coach Kosek is leaning on that experience early in the season as they have a very tough schedule in the front half of the year. Currently the Lady Tigers are sitting at 1-1 after opening up with an 11-0 victory over South Range and then falling 5-0 to a very talented Salem Lady Quakers team.

CANFIELD, OH- In a recent interview, Canfield Cardinals football coach Mike Pavlansky shared his excitement about returning in 2023 to lead the team’s defense of their Division III State Title. With the departure of 28 seniors, the upcoming season and its schedule presents a new challenge for the Cardinals.

CAMPBELL OH- Campbell volleyball is coming off of their best season in the program’s history. With bringing a huge number of people back this season, the Red Devils hope to be a force to be reckoned with this season.  The Red Devils aren’t just the same roster either, they have some new faces that will help them try to reach greatness.  Tyler Allen has brought fantastic energy into the program as the head coach. He has these players not just wanting to win, but expecting it, and believing it.  Campbell is a team that you won’t be able to look away from this season.

POLAND VOLLEYBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH ALEAH DIAMOND

POLAND OH- Its the dawn of another volleyball season, and excitement is bubbling over. Poland is very excited about the outlook of their season. They have a culture that is firmly in place now that Aleah Diamond is in her 3rd year as head coach.  That added with an impressive freshman class that had a ton of success in their middle school seasons, the Bulldogs are ready to go in 2023.  Their season opens up with a matchup against Western Reserve on August 21st.  Krisie Hughes will be on the other bench, who is coach Diamond’s mother.  It’s a good ole family rivalry to open the year.
