WEST BRANCH ENDS AVIATORS FLIGHT PLAN

BELOIT OH- The West Branch boys golf team defeated Alliance 168-186 to improve to 4-1 on the season. Leading the Warriors to victory were Reed Williams 38, Jaxon Robb 42, Landon Wilson 44, Brant Allison 44, Christian Starcher 45, Westley Daley 45.

The Warriors will be back at it tomorrow against the league leading Carrollton Warriors at The Flying B.

CANFIELD BOYS GOLF COACH’S CORNER (EP. 1) WITH MIKE KERENSKY

CANFIELD, OH – The Canfield boys golf coach, Mike Kerensky, joined us on the first ever Canfield golf coach’s corner. Coach Kerensky touched on his teams previous tournaments, goals for the season, the new golf simulator in the Canfield Middle School, and a special event coming up in September. Coach Kerensky is very proud of his teams performances this season, and is hoping for a deep run into the state tournament.

BLUE JAYS CONTINUE TO LOOK STRONG

NORTH JACKSON OH- The Blue Jays faced off against Lowellville at Olde Dutch Mill Thursday afternoon. The Blue Jays picked up their 5th win of the season to move their record to 5-1 on the season by beating Lowellville. Scoring in the match was Aaren Romigh 44, Nicolai Scandy 53, Dom Zitello 55, and Ryen Romigh 55. The Blue Jays will be back in action on Tuesday, August 24th against Southeast at Olde Dutch Mill. EAGLES GRAB FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

HUBBARD OH- The Hubbard girls golf team got their first win of the season against Poland yesterday with a final score of 223-237. Noelle Trobek shot a 44 to lead the team. Natalie Horvath finished with a 56. Karlie Brenner turned in a score of 58, and Julia Palumbo shot a 65. Hubbard is now 1-1 on the year.

BLUE JAYS EDGE OUT HARDING

NORTH JACKSON OH- The Blue Jays faced off against Warren Harding at Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Jays preserved in a very close and completive match with some great team play to get the win. Scoring in the match was Nicolai Scandy 44, Aaren Romigh 44, Hunter Schertzer 51, and Ryen Romigh 54. REBELS LIGHT UP THE LINKS OVER GARFIELD

BEAVER CREEK MEADOWS- Emily Hill continued to shine for the Rebels in a 177-180 victory over Garfield Friday.

Hill’s 39 set the pace in the victory, as the next closest score was two strokes off the lead by Landen Gedeon.

Crestview will now look to face Brookfield next Thursday 8/19 at Yankee Run.

VIKINGS SHOOT SEASON LOW

ATWATER OH- Waterloo golf is definitely off and running in the 2021 season. Every team wants to improve as the season goes on and the Vikings are seeing first hand evidence of that in their program. This afternoon they shot a season low 343 finishing 4th in the Falcon Invitational. Luke Simons finished with a runner up in the tournament shooting a 75. Noah Hughes shot a 87. Jackson Eichler finished with a 88. Trevor Simons scored a 93, and rounding out the Vikings score was Drew Flarida shooting a 98.

BLUE JAYS STAY UNBEATEN

In a very rainy golf match today, the blue jays persevered and continued their success by beating Warren G. Harding to move to a perfect 4-0 on the season. In a shorted 5 hole match due to weather, the team was highlighted by Junior, Josh Donaldson and Freshman, Hunter Schertzer who both finished with a 21 for their round. Following, was Nicolai Scandy 26, and Ryen Romigh 28. The Blue Jays look to continue their success in their final match of the week tomorrow, when they face Sebring and Springfield in a tri-match at Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course. The Blue Jays continued their success by beating both Windham and Labrae to move to a perfect 3-0 on the season. The Blue Jays were highlighted by Junior, Aaren Romigh who finished with a PR 44 for his round. Following, was Nicolai Scandy 49, Josh Donaldson 50, and Hunter Schertzer 50.
