COLUMBIANA TROUNCES TIGERS

WELLSVILLE OH- Columbiana coasted to an easy victory over Wellsville 19-2 on Tuesday

The Clippers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Alex Eusebio singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Columbiana put up six runs in the third inning. Eddie Clancy, Maxx Grommes, Bayden Pipoly, Ian Less, and Carson Dota powered the big inning with RBIs.

Zachary Pleska earned the victory on the mound for Columbiana. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out seven and walking one. Less threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Less went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Clippers in hits. Columbiana didn’t commit a single error in the field. Clancy had the most chances in the field with ten.
