CRESTVIEW SENDS A MESSAGE WITH SWEEP OF FITCH

COLUMBIANA OH- Crestview made a resounding statement on the volleyball court, stunning the previously undefeated and top-ranked Fitch team with a sweeping victory (25-18, 25-17, 25-21).

Crestview’s performance was nothing short of outstanding, with several players delivering remarkable stats. Grace Auer led the charge with a phenomenal triple-double, amassing 20 kills, 18 assists, and 15 digs. Abbey Emch was equally impressive with a double-double, contributing 17 kills, 13 digs, and 2 blocks. Julia Blasko added 6 kills, 1 block, and 14 digs to the mix, while Lainy Auer recorded a double-double with 24 assists, 10 digs, and 4 kills.

On the Fitch side, Rylie Simons showcased her skills with 32 assists and 9 digs, while Kylie Folkwein delivered a double-double performance with 10 kills and 11 digs. Jordan Smith contributed 13 kills, and Afton Roby added 7 kills and 3 blocks. Izzy DiRenzo provided solid defense with 18 digs.

Crestview’s remarkable victory served notice to the volleyball community, and they look forward to returning to league play with a trip to Garfield. Fitch, on the other hand, will hit the road again, traveling to Mineral Ridge on Monday in search of a rebound performance.
