HOBAN LOOKS IMPRESSIVE IN BLOWOUT OF JFK

AKRON OH- Parker Falkenstein collected three hits in three at bats, as Hoban defeated Warren JFK 10-0 on Wednesday. Falkenstein doubled in the first inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

The Knights scored seven runs in the first inning on the way to victory. an error scored one run, one run scored on another play, Justice Buckner doubled, scoring two runs, Cade Marks singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Falkenstein singled, scoring ohe run. Hoban added one run in the second after Zach Karhoff singled.

Andrew Karhoff earned the win for the Knights. The right-handed pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking two. Michael Bartoe took the loss for JFK. The reliever went two innings, allowing two runs on one hit, striking out one and walking three. Jaden Rishel started the game. He allowed one hit and three runs (zero earned) over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking none.

Peyton Weigand tossed one and one-third innings of zero-run ball for the Knights in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking none. Buckner and Michael Ciavolella each drove in two runs.

Hoban had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Grady Falkenstein and Will Givens led the team with two walks each. Falkenstein and Karhoff each stole multiple bases.

Caleb Hadley, Bartoe, and Andrew Lapolla each collected one hit for JFK. The Eagles turned two double plays in the game.
