LEOPARDS AVOID SCARE IN CRESTVIEW

COLUMBIANA OH- The  undefeated Lady Leopards from Liberty handed the Lady Rebels their first home loss of the season on Thursday night 57-47.  Junior Cianna Smith put up 28 points for the Leopards while Junior Demi Watson added 11 all in the 4th quarter.

What seemed to be a defensive battle with a 19-16 lead at the break the Leopards Smith changed the narrative and put up 18 points in the 3rd quarter.

For the Rebels the Freshman Luvrain Gaskins and Reagan Edwards fought a hard battle putting up 14 and 12 points on the board to lead the Lady Rebels scoring.

Others scoring for the Leopards were Senior Jordan Banks (8), Senior Tianna Weatherly (6) and Sophomore Aaliyah Foster (4).

Scoring for the Rebels was more spread out as Senior Karsyn Moore (7), Sophomore Emily Downey (4), Sophomore Katie Lissi (4), Freshman Alexa DiCross (3),  Senior McKenna Schultz (2) and Freshman Lexi Blower (1).

The Lady Rebels (6-7) will head to Champion to take on the Lady Golden Flashes on Thursday, January 20th.

The Lady Leopards (13-0) will look to keep the goose egg in the L column at Brookfield against the Lady Warriors also next Thursday.
