MASSILLON OH- Louisville asserted their dominance on Tuesday, shutting the door on Massillon Washington with a commanding 7-0 win.
The Louisville offense wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, led by Katelyn Miller’s strong performance. Miller went 1 for 2 at the plate with 3 RBIs, including a crucial walk and run scored. Addy Campbell contributed with 2 hits and an RBI, while Matti Benson and Leah Claugus each drove in a run as well.
In the circle, Katie Heath delivered a standout performance, pitching a complete game shutout. Heath allowed just 5 hits over 7 innings while striking out 4 batters, keeping Massillon Washington’s offense at bay.
