LOWELLVILLE GETS SOME HOME COOKIN’

LOWELLVILLE OH- In a clash of MVAC rivals, Lowellville put on a strong performance on both offense and defense, securing a 7-2 victory over Western Reserve on Monday.

Lowellville’s offense wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, with multiple players contributing to their run total. Ryan Neider led the charge with a 1-for-2 performance, driving in 2 runs. Tino Rivera-Ocasio and Kasen Smith each added an RBI, while Anthony Kacir scored 2 runs.

On the mound, Liam Bartlett delivered a dominant performance for Lowellville, pitching a complete game gem. He allowed just 1 hit and 2 earned runs while striking out 8 Western Reserve batters.

Western Reserve struggled to generate offense against Bartlett’s pitching, with Brock Wellman managing the only hit of the day for their team. Vance Story drew 2 walks and scored a run for Western Reserve.
