CORTLAND, OH- Both teams were strong on the mound on Wednesday, but Lakeview was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over South Range on Wednesday. Brady Dixon started the game for Raiders and recorded 15 outs. The Raiders lost despite out-hitting Lakeview five to three. Lazzari got the win for Lakeview. He surrendered one run on three hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three.
Dixon took the loss for the Raiders. He surrendered two runs on three hits over five innings, striking out one. Boivin started the game for Lakeview. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out two. Brandon Youngs, Jared Bajerski, Brycen James, Ben Rivera, and Jaxon Anderson each managed one hit to lead Raiders. Raiders was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Michael Cunningham made the most plays with ten.
