PROSPECTS HAVE THAT WALK OFF VIBE

STRUTHERS OH- Saturday’s Class B 18U showdown at Bob Cene Park saw Prospects edge out Athletix in a nail-biter, winning 3-2 with a walk-off run in the bottom of the seventh.

Mason Nawrocki earned the win out of the bullpen for Prospects, while Brendan Ray took the tough loss for Athletix, despite a solid complete game performance. Ray allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits, struck out six, and walked just one.

Dominic Santee led the charge for Prospects with two hits, a run, and an RBI. Bryce Madden added a hit and scored twice, and Landon Brunstetter chipped in with an RBI double.

For Athletix, Tyler Kirlik was a standout with two hits and two RBIs. CJ Frasco also contributed with a double and a run scored.
