RAIDERS ARE STILL TOP DOG IN NE8

POLAND OH- In a highly anticipated showdown, South Range emerged victorious, knocking off previously undefeated Poland with a final score of 21-7. This win solidified South Range’s position at the top of the NE8 standings.

The game started with South Range making a statement as they engineered a long drive culminating in a six-yard touchdown run by Blake Ewert. With 4:08 remaining in the first quarter, South Range took the lead 7-0.

Poland, however, responded swiftly. Quarterback Dom Pagano connected with wide receiver Josh Macejko on a 15-yard touchdown pass, leveling the score at 7-7 early in the second quarter.

The Raiders wasted no time in regaining the lead. On their following drive, quarterback Tristan Toy found wide receiver Brady Crumbacher. Crumbacher hauled in the pass and showcased his speed, dashing for an 82-yard touchdown reception. This gave the Raiders a 14-7 lead with 8:32 left in the second quarter.

South Range’s offense remained relentless. Tristan Toy, having already delivered one big play, added another highlight to his performance. He embarked on a 57-yard touchdown run during the Raiders’ next offensive drive, extending their lead to 21-7.
